Hillcrest Children's Center

Founded in 1815 by Dolly Madison and chartered by an Act of Congress, Hillcrest Children's Center has, throughout its history, offered primary prevention and mental health services to children and families. The HCC mission statement speaks to an historical committment to children:

To promote the well-being and spiritual development of all children and youth of the District of Columbia through comprehensive, culturally responsive, family and community focused services, education and advocacy.
